NY RED HOOK — Red Hook Town Board voted 3-2 to approve water parcel acquisition under Community Preservation Fund. Supervisor Robert McKeon, Councilmember William Hamel, and Councilmember Jacob Testa voted to approve Resolution No. 40, authorizing the disposition of approximately 8.55 acres for $222,000 and acquisition under the Community Preservation Fund at a cost not to exceed $240,000. Councilmember Kristina Dousharm and Councilmember Kenneth Migliorelli opposed, with Dousharm arguing the sale amounted to a bailout of the Water District and Migliorelli preferring a conservation easement.
