Planning Board approved two Certificates of Appropriateness and scheduled three applications for August public hearings.

(2) Planning Board · Meeting of July 20, 2026

NY RED HOOK — Planning Board approved two Certificates of Appropriateness and scheduled three applications for August public hearings. Chairperson Sam Phelan and board members Arthur Salman, Jay Quaintance, and Ariadne Montare voted unanimously to approve certificates for a green metal shed at 96 Old Post Road North and a sunroom remodel at 914-918 River Road. The board waived a public hearing on the River Road project after determining the improvements would have no significant visual impact.

Public hearings were scheduled for August 3 on the Gross Bagels Amended Site Plan, the Velie-Launhardt Lot Line Alteration, and the Cohen Odom Lot Line Alteration. The Cole Minor Subdivision application was deferred pending a soil evaluation.
