NY RED HOOK — The Red Hook Planning Board unanimously approved The Root Cellar wine production facility, operated by Harrison Forman and Daniel Liebel on leased property at Greig Farm at 231 Pitcher Lane in the Agricultural Business District. The board modified conditions to remove daylight-hour and retail-use restrictions inappropriate for the non-retail production operation and required state farm production law compliance. In separate business, the board received presentations on site plan applications from the Jennings and Choinsky applicants and scheduled a public hearing for April 6, 2026, on an application from Viewpoint LLC to add an ADA ramp at the Rolin Fields play facility at 3794 Route 9G.
